My name is Maksim, I'm the owner of this shop. I live in the Bay Area, California, and I'm attending college. I've had a passion for entomology for over a decade, even if I didn't know what entomology was. 

Although this shop was started late November of 2023, I've been keeping ants for much longer. Starting in 2016 with my first Tetramorium "sp. e" pavement queen ant, I've been keeping ants ever since. Since the pandemic I have been getting more and more into it, and since 2022 I've been playing a role in multiples ant stores.

This store's mission is simple. Supply the ants people want for a price that's fair for everyone. I want this hobby to thrive, so I'm not going to try to sell you ants half-dead at double the price they're worth. For more information on what and how I will keep to my word, see
